Birbal was late in coming to the court.

Birbal was late in coming to the court.

Once upon a time, Birbal was late in coming to the court. King Akbar was eagerly waiting for Birbal. As soon as Birbal reached the court, Akbar asked him the reason for the delay. Birbal started saying that today when he was leaving the house, his small children stopped him and insisted not to go anywhere. Somehow, after persuading the children, there was a delay in leaving.
The king could not believe these words of Birbal at all, he thought that Birbal was making a false excuse of coming late. He told Birbal that convincing the children is not such a difficult task. If they do not agree, they can be pacified by a little scolding.
At the same time, Birbal was aware that it is very difficult to fulfill the innocent questions and stubbornness of children. When Akbar was not satisfied with this, he suggested a solution to Birbal. He put a condition in front of the king, he said that he can prove that small children are very difficult to understand, but for this he will have to behave like a small child and make the king understand them. The king agreed to this condition.
The very next moment Birbal started crying and crying like a child. The king lifted him in his lap to persuade him. Birbal sat on the lap and started playing with the king's long moustache. Sometimes he would spoil his face like a child and sometimes he would start pulling his moustache. Till now the king was not having any objection.
When Birbal got tired of playing with his moustache, he insisted on eating sugarcane. The king ordered sugarcane to be brought for Birbal who became a child. When sugarcane was brought, Birbal took a new insistence that he wanted peeled sugarcane. The sugarcane was peeled by a servant. Now Birbal started shouting loudly that he wanted sugarcane cut into small pieces.
To fulfill his insistence, the sugarcane was cut into small pieces. When the king gave these pieces to Birbal to eat, Birbal threw those pieces on the ground. The king got very angry seeing this. He angrily asked Birbal, “Why did you throw the sugarcane down? Eat it quietly. Birbal started crying and screaming even more loudly after hearing the scolding.
Akbar asked lovingly, “Say Birbal. Why are you crying? Birbal replied, "I want a big sugarcane, not a small one." Akbar brought him a big sugarcane, but Birbal did not even touch that big sugarcane.
Now the anger of King Akbar was increasing. He said to Birbal that "According to your insistence, you have been given a big sugarcane, why are you crying after not eating it?" Birbal replied, "I want to eat a big sugarcane by joining these small pieces." Hearing this stubbornness of Birbal, the king held his head and went to his place and sat down.
Seeing them upset, Birbal stopped pretending to be a child and went before the king. He asked the king, "Now do you agree that it is certainly a difficult task to make children understand?" The king nodded in yes and started smiling at Birbal.
Learning from the story
From this story we get to know that children are very innocent. Often we are not able to answer their innocent questions, but still their stubbornness and curiosity can be pacified by lovingly explaining them and giving many examples.

Jealous of Birbal

Jealous of Birbal. Because of Birbal's intelligence and the art of steaming the problem, the emperor liked him very much. For this reason other people were equally jealous of Birbal. Akbar's brother-in-law was also one of those jealous. He always wanted to take the special place that Birbal had got. The emperor knew that there could be no one else like Birbal. He used to try to explain this to his brother-in-law as well, but his brother-in-law always used to say that he is also very intelligent. Because of all these things, once it occurred to the king that now he will not believe like this. He has to be explained by giving some task. That's why Akbar told his brother-in-law that with your mind and understanding, you should save this sack of coal to the most greedy Seth Damdi Lal. If you do this, I will immediately give you the place of Birbal. Akbar's brother-in-law was surprised to hear this, but he wanted Birbal's place. With this thought, he reached ...

Biggest weapon in this world?

Biggest weapon in this world? Emperor Akbar used to talk to Birbal about many things other than work. Sitting like this, one day the king asked Birbal that according to you which is the biggest weapon in this world? In response to this, Birbal said that there can be no bigger weapon in the world than self-confidence. Akbar did not understand this, but still he did not say anything. It occurred to him that when the time comes, this thing will be tested. After a few days, an elephant became uncontrollable in the state. On finding out, it was understood that he has gone mad. He was chained by the staff. As soon as the news of this reached the king, he directly told the mahout that whenever you see Birbal coming, play the elephant's chains. The mahout was surprised to hear this, but it was the order of the king, so he bowed his head and left. Now Akbar asked Birbal to go to the Mahavat. Seeing Birbal coming, Mahavat also freed the elephant from the chains following the orde...

Akber and Birbal

Once upon a time, King Akbar and Birbal were discussing some important matters sitting in the court. Then Birbal said to Akbar, "I think most of the men are slaves of Joru and live in fear of their wives." The king did not like this statement of Birbal at all. He opposed this. On this, Birbal was also adamant on getting his words convinced. He told the king that he could prove his point. However, for this the king will have to issue an order among the subjects. The order was that, the man who was found to be afraid of his wife, would have to deposit a hen in the court. The king agreed to this talk of Birbal. The very next day an order was made among the people that if it is proved that a man is afraid of his wife, then he will have to come to the court and deposit a hen with Birbal. What was it then, in no time, many chickens gathered near Birbal and hundreds of chickens started roaming in the garden of the palace. Now Birbal reached to the king and said, “Maharaj...
